Brian O'Kane

BRIAN O'KANE is the Founder / Publisher of Oak Tree Press, Ireland’s leading business book publisher. Trained as a chartered accountant, he has edited the professional membership magazines of two of the world’s largest accountancy bodies.

Brian is the author (or co-author with Ron Immink) of a number of key Irish business planning texts, including: Starting Your Own Business: A Workbook (now in its 5th edition); Could You Be Your Own Boss?; TENBizPlan: Dynamic Business Planning for Start-ups; the Steps to Entrepreneurship series and Growing Your Own Business: A Workbook. 

Brian holds a BComm degree from University College Dublin, and a Master’s degree by research from Waterford IT. He is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
